Ok, watched Macross Zero for the 2nd time. Hmm.. of all the Macross series, this is the one I liked the least. There's little to really excite; sure, there are pretty girls, but that's just about it.
The new mecha which appear in the series (which btw is just 5 episodes long): the VF-0! This one is the hero, Shin's VF-0A. The designs are pretty much similar to the original Macross series because it is set a year before it.

The other hero is Roy Fokker, with his much cooler VF-0S!
which also can be equipped with this awesome looking Reactive Armor!
The villains: Nora's SV-51
fighter mode looks cool
but Battroid just sucks..
And Ivanov's SV-51
The thing that is poor about it is the convoluted storyline about Bird Man and Mayans.. wtf.. it's supposed to be profound, but I find it confusing. It's still worth a look for Macross fans, because some references are made about Zero in other series.
Ok, so we can pass looking for the models :P
