"Macross Frontier: Robot Spirits - Queadluun Rare Klan Klang Custom!"

Here comes Klan Klang's custom Queadluun Rare! This is part of Bandai's Robot Spirits line and cost me RM130 after discount.

DSC09069
DSC09070

"Queadluun-Rea is a mobile weapon used by the Zentradi (mainly female soldiers) since the ancient times. It is more akin to a fighter pod than a walking powered suit. It was developed as a model for female officers; it has a chest section but lacks a full torso. The Queadluun-Rea is equipped with a pivoting beam cannon on its back. It also has three-barreled laser pulse guns in its arms. It is assigned to the Pixie Team of the S.M.S., but its maneuverability is outmatched by the newest variable fighter, the VF-25."

DSC09062

I just love the striking RED!

DSC09064

Cockpit opens up.. Klan Klang is not removable though.

DSC09066

Side compartment opens up to reveal missiles.

DSC09060

I was pretty surprised at how small this Q-Rare model is. But being this small means it's more or less in scale with my Klan Klang figure, so we can pretend she's posing with it ;)

"Stories from the wedding pics!"

Going through all the pics in the entire album takes time, so I'm posting a few here as a summary. We arrived at the studio at around 12PM, make up, set the hair and wear the costumes.

My hair here is just as is when I came in. And my fairer complexion leaves Gf fuming :P

Her individual pic. Gf brought her plastic fingernail accessory. Unfortunately, it only made her pose un-naturally because she was afraid it would drop. Cameraman told her, better to take it off :P

2nd costume, apple-green! She takes on a more 'kiddy-cute' hairstyle. Me still the same, only change shirt and tie.

Another change. More mature hairstyle for her.

This will be her main wedding dress.

This is actually Shalom's studio door :D I changed to this beige color outfit.

At 1st floor of their studio.

One more last studio pic, traditional Chinese! I get my wish for an-all black outfit :D And the hair. Gosh. Stylist change my hair and spray it hard like there's no tomorrow :P Now I got what some of you call the 'Ip Man' look!

And off we go for the outdoor session, at around 4PM. First stop is the Peranakan Museum in Church Street. Paid RM50 to the museum for us to use their place. My first impression of the place was that it's incredibly PLAIN. "Err.. we're gonna take pics here..?"

But it turns out stunning! Cameraman said, "You just need to catch the angle"~~ We took ALOT of pics here.

This is the dress for the wedding dinner. Upgraded to Super VIP, add RM400 fuhh...

This is a dining hall, still inside the museum.

Reflection on the glass door.

Outside. Similar to the Peranakan (Baba Nyonya) houses found in Melaka.

Next up, a construction site. Wtf. We stopped beside a field overgrown with grass beside a construction site near Tanjung Bungah. You wouldn't have guessed it ;)

The sun was just blazing hot, furthermore wearing these costumes.

"Now u carry her." Umm.... carry her??! Injury #1 :D

We selected this one as the secondary picture to be enlarged to a photo frame. Looks like some wonderful green green world somewhere~~

Next, the beach. We had to go pass some swimming club to get to their small beach area.

Say "Aaaaa~~!"

And this is the primary picture we choose to be enlarged to a photo frame.

The background buildings tell you where this is ;)

Cameraman's favourite shot and also the cover to the photo album! Cameraman is a very animated person. Funny and a bit psychotic. When he gets excited with a good shot, he will say, "Yes, yes, yes!!" and punches the air like he scored the winning goal! -_-''

Check out the dark sky... few moments later, we were all scrambling to shelter :D "Har.. this one is unique and memorable to your album dy."

When the rain stopped, we drove to an upscale housing area also in Tg Bungah. Parked at the roadside, and posed in the middle of the road for this...

Sis say this is her fav shot :D A bit dangerous also, have to look out for incoming cars!

And that wraps up the photo shoot. Finished at around 6PM, short and relaxing, just like Cameraman said. "You just need to catch the angle". That's fine with me ;)

"Macross Frontier movie!"

Trailer for the Macross Frontier movie coming out later this month!

Too bad it's a retelling, rather than a continuation of the TV series. But hey, we get to see Sheryl & Ranka again :D

"Discharged from Hospital!"

Back!! Today finally discharged from Pantai Hospital -_-''

Last Wed started to see red rashes on my body, so take MC dy. Oh good, no need to work, can watch cartoon at home. Thursday even more rashes. Ok, lets watch more cartoon first... Friday still not recover, gosh, see clinic again, took blood test. "Looks like dengue. Test result should be ready by 8pm. Come back later."

SHIT

SHIT SHIT SHIT

The wait for 8PM was terrible. Went to the clinic, lots of people but then Doctor say "Let him in first" Oh no. Not good. "Haha, just as I expected, your platelet count has dropped to 59. Need to be admitted dy. Suspected dengue fever. Which hospital you want? Lam Wah Ee? Pantai?" B-but but....

THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!!

Shock. Panic. You name it :D Informed Gf and Mum. Mum also panic. Suddenly I got all sorts of phone calls from people, make me even more tension! Finally at 10PM, drive to Pantai and 'check-in' myself :D And there began my 6 day stay in the hospital.

Red rashes and fever were not the only problem. Since 3-4 weeks ago I have been having recurring diarrhea and a total loss of appetite. Weight also decreased to 60KG. On that day itself it happened again.

So for the first few days I was on water-drip treatment (Intravenous therapy). Poke a needle into my forehand to allow for injection of mineral directly into the veins. That HURTS. Not to mention troublesome; have to carry around the pole everywhere I go.

Even got Jabatan Kesihatan folks came to interview me. "Where do you stay? Lip Sin? Oh, which block? Oh, that's a hot spot for dengue. We shoot few times (fogging) the last few weeks dy..." SHIT

Everyday they will do blood test on me (you can imagine how many 'holes' in my arms dy!). Thankfully after a few days, the results for both Dengue and Chikungunya turned out negative and the platelet count slowly increased. 61, 70, then shoot up back to 100 and finally today it's back to 150 (normal)! "Luckily it's a normal viral infection", Doctor said. "Can discharge on Thursday". Hurray!!

Stepping out of Pantai for the first time in so many days, felt like coming out of prison! Overall stay there is ok; good service, nice nurses... although hospital food is really terrible: bland tasteless yuck!! Thankfully mom and sis came up to visit me and cook for me :D

But home's still the best place.. no need to share room with strangers :P I stayed in a 2 bed room. Changed 4 roommates: a boy with high fever, a guy suspected of H1N1 (wtf), a car accident guy and an old man who had eye operation. The H1N1 suspect (which turned out negative, phew~) gave me the most unforgettable experience. He was quiet in the day but come night time, he SNORED like there is no tomorrow :S End up I can't sleep, next day fever go up again!

Also really appreciate those who came to visit me: family, friends, oh and Ms Sharon Teoh, who came at midnight on the day I was admitted and brought lots of 100 Plus for me :) Mom said, "Luckily it's not near your wedding day". Errm... seriously the wedding was the last thing on my mind at that time!
