"Christmas days are coming"

This year's Christmas will be really 'exciting', but lets look at some less heart-stopping pics first :D

@ Queensbay... last year everyone was down and gloomy over the economy downturn, and you can really see it from the decorations being put up. This year is much better, and there is already a festive atmosphere about the whole thing :)






with the Toys R Us bag... as usual! TRU is restocking every week lately and I'm always there 2-3 times a week ;)

Dinner @ Chilli's. Not really a Christmas celebration, but I didn't know how else to fit this in :P

Hot chicken... (full name I can't remember). This is awesome, and the corn is perfectly matching the spicy/BBQ/sweet sauce!

Grilled salmon, another superb set...

It's not really the cheapest place, but one way to 'save' when eating here is to just call iced water, it's free! And it actually helps because you won't have too many flavours competing with each other. Plain water just quenches the thirst.. And from that 'savings', we can order a desert: this is the Chocolate Brownie. It's weird. The ice cream is cold, and the brownie is warm. Hot and cold?! Go figure!

"Christmas @ Melaka!"

The looong holiday. Time for some R&R to wrap up the year. So on Christmas Day we started our journey back to Melaka. I haven't gone back for quite awhile, so really looking forward to it!

1) This year's National Christmas Open House was held at Portuguese Settlement. Goody2... I can just walk there! And the guest of honour was....... YAB Abdullah Badawi! I may not be a big fan of his, but neither would I pass up the chance to see the Prime Minister up close! (while dragging my reluctant sis & bf along :P)


Jam packed with people! Portuguese Settlement Square has been completely renovated and now has this massive park to fit these tens of thousands of people!


And they put up this nicely lit Christmas tree :) My sis n bf got to take this pic because right after, it suddenly blacked out :-S

Hey hey, here comes Paklala!



"Bagi laluan, bagi laluan!". I nearly lost balance taking this :-S Anyway, was so close to him, but he was on the other side of the red carpet, so no chance to shake hands :P (Fyi, he was much more popular than the Melaka Governor beside him :P)


And they gave away these food packets. Thousands and thousands of them. You want 10 you get 10. No questions asked :D Gosh, whoever got this contract would be instant millionaire!

2) Jason's birthday + Anand returns! Yup, hanging out at this new place called Arena by the Melaka Jetty beside Holiday Inn.
