"Transformers DOTM: Jetwing Optimus Prime!"

If there's one thing that I liked about Transformers Dark of the Moon (DOTM) is the scene where Optimus flies in with his jet-wing pack blasting Decepticons away. Of course, he ended up getting caught by hanging wires, which was pretty silly!

Takara Tomy has a toy based on that scene (flying in, not getting caught in the wires) and it's one wicked badass figure! Check out these pics taken from their website:

This would make one mean display!! I'd really like to get one of these, except the price is over RM5xx :-S Hmm.. maybe they'll release a smaller and cheaper version soon?

Haven't had the urge to watch the new TF3 just yet... maybe wait for the crowd to thin out... but I have a feeling it's gonna suck; they are milking the franchise dry! :P

Now we can combine Jetfire with Optimus just like in the movie~~ can't wait to try it out!

That's also not all, lots of Star Wars and G.I. Joes too! This is out of control :D The whole year we've been waiting and nothing ever comes out.. now everything comes out all at once!

"Transformers ROTF: Human Alliance Bumblebee!"

Here comes the Human Alliance Bumblebee~~! This version is a new and bigger (Voyager class) version of Hasbro's mega cash-cow: Bumblebee. This time it comes with a mini Sam Witwicky which can interact with Bumblebee.

Comparing the size between new and Deluxe Class version.. much biggger.. Nice! :)



Sam can fit in the car which can hold another figure (Mikaela!) :D



Transformation is reasonably complicated. The instructions.. suck.. just figure it out, after awhile u'll get it. The Sam figure is ok, I think the best place for him is inside the car :P



And the feature we've been waiting for: the slide down battle-mask!

This thing is RM149.90 and selling very hot. But dun worry: Hasbro knows this baby makes money, so be patient and eventually u'll find it ;)

"Do You Remember... Transformers!"

Toys R' Us (and most major toy shops) got their Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen shipment this week, just in time for school holidays... Yeah, we're familiar with Hasbro's strategy to squeeze every $ we have!

The movie's not out yet, so not sure which are the cool characters. However, I did pull out from the store room all the main characters from the first Transformers movie! It's been 2 years, but see if you can remember them!

Autobots: Ironhide, Optimus, Ratchet, Bumblebee, Jazz



Decepticons: Brawl, Starscream, Megatron, Bonecrusher, Barricade, Scroponok and Blackout.

And I'm sooo proud to be able to snap them all together. Remember I spent 1 year +++ trying to find them, and only finished the collection when I bought Ironhide and Blackout in Plantation last year :-S




And all together! (too big to stand on the studio setup dy)



Obviously they are not really in scale. Especially the bad guys. Autobots still ok. Some of the new Transformers 2 figures are out, this time with even more movie-accurate designs.. Sigh, but after collecting Macross, no $$$ to buy dy~~~~
