"Hot Toys' (Improved) Bruce Lee figure!!"

Previously, when Hot Toys announced their new 12 inch Bruce Lee:



I think the response was like..."Err.. the body sculpt looks plastic-y!"

And now, they have done this:



Hot Toys have actually refined the body sculpt to look more natural! OMG!! It's so temptinggggg!!! :P

Hot Toys announced yet another classic character from a classic movie: the Alien creature from.. well.. Alien :P

Oh ya, while I was driving back to Melaka the previous time, stopped by 1 Utama to go toy scouting :D Found this: Mattel's Movie Masters figure of Batman from The Dark Knight! Hurray, that figure was soo missing from my TDK collection.



Price says RM69.90, but when scanned, it came out to only RM24.90! Clearance sales~~

with the Joker, which was so hard to find last time, but now also on clearance. But then, these figures from Mattel look like crap when you compare against....

Here comes Hot Toys' Predator to beat up Dutch!

Yeah, the Predator with jungle stand... just look at the amount of detail in it~~

Remove his mask to show the "one ugly mudderfugga" :D Closed mouth and open mouth version via removable 'fangs'

...but Dutch outsmarts Predator, who activates his self-destruct mechanism to blow everything apart... too bad he's the only casualty in the end!

Great great figure, easily the most detailed in my collection. Hong Kong toy producer Hot Toys are really a class apart from the others. Dutch and Predator are fine examples of this..

It's just that their prices are insane: Predator costs RM618 before 5% discount (wallet screaming in pain....) which means these 2 figures already cost a total of RM1K!!

"Major Alan Dutch!"

Hurray! Uncle's shop had a restock of Hot Toys' Dutch figure. After some thoughts, jz grabbed the last unit :P This is my first time buying from Hot Toys and really happy to say that I'm now a fan of their products! Just check out how closely they nailed Arnold Schwarzenegger's likeness as Major Alan Dutch in the movie Predator. Totally awesome~~



Of coz, as u can expect, this costs a bomb too. Retail price of RM498, I get 5% off. Can do lots of pose with this fella~~



Predator was during the movie era of macho big muscle men holding big guns blowing things apart and kicking ass :D



Can take off his jacket too. The detail on the clothing is also fantastic. There's little zips here, buttons there..



Tough guys need their cigar~~ Can actually go one step further and strip him topless to show all off Arnold's muscular glory.. lets leave that for some other time :P

Compared Dutch with some of Sideshow Collectibles' figures: Qui-Gon and Indy, and it was pretty clear Sideshow's version lacked the 'human-ness' of the real actors.



Dutch is really fun to play/pose with...



Can show him blowing off Qui-Gon's head... or kicking him out of the studio...



Can knife Indy... can be a Jedi too??!

The price is pretty steep on this guy, but u get a really top class product. Now to get his nemesis.. the Predator!! Gosh, that one costs waay more.... :'(

Stumbled upon the new 1/6 action figures by Hot Toys from the movie Predator.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, a.k.a. Dutch!



And the Predator!



Arnold costs RM498 and is already sold out in a lot of places. Not hard to see why; the head sculpt is just amazing. Predator is coming out next month. It comes with all the gimmick from the movie too, like the red beam at his head and the countdown timer on his left hand.
