After Universal, our next trip was to Disney World, which was just beside Universal, very convenient :D The place is incredibly huge. Disney World consists of 4 main theme parks, and the one we're going to is Magic Kingdom. Yeah, if you only go one, it's gotta be this one! The ticket is about USD 65 per person.
Disney has a Monorail system which links parking to the various theme parks.
The entrance brings you to Main Street, USA. Here, can see the centerpiece of Magic Kingdom: Cinderella's castle!
Furry horse.. the place as expected is jam-packed, with children and grown-ups. I'd say this is far more popular with kids :P The place is decorated with realistic looking buildings and props from old US era...
Snap snap snap, so many places to take nice pics :D
As we got nearer to Cinderella's castle, oh, there was a show going on.. Mickey, Minney and other fairy tales characters...
Once the coast is clear, we went to the exact center to snap this pic:
Walt Disney with Mickey...
The landscape is absolutely astounding. Gardens after gardens...
Fireworks!
Went round the park, not really going for any rides, feeling very tired after Universal :P
Arr!! Pirates of the Carribean: this one we like! They actually modified the ride to include Jack Sparrow here and there :P

Even got Jack's trademark hat, just snap, no need to buy :D
Minnie and Mickey's house...
Inside...
Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner:
Vege noodle and orange chicken.. Yeah, one meal per day. No wonder I looked so lean in Plantation :P
Having covered most of the places, went to shop for souveniours. Gosh, things are really expensive. Didn't get much though. By night time, there was a colorful light float procession...
A special shot: Reflections of the castle on the lake... this time I'm well-prepared to capture such a delicate shot :D
And then went back to the main area to wait for the start of the most exciting moment: The Wishes fireworks special! This is THE attraction of Magic Kingdom. The first time I saw it, it really redefines fireworks for me. It's not like the cheapo 'piak-piak' fireworks we see in Malaysia. This one goes all-out. I took the whole video of the fireworks, around 12 minutes long. Even that doesn't come close to capturing the 'feel' of seeing the entire sky lit up in an explosive finale to the day....
Disney is primarily meant for kids, but after the fireworks display, EVERYONE was cheering and clapping :)
Uploading that 1GB video may take some time, but check out these pics from my first trip there.
Ok, drove back to hotel, have a good rest, the next day driving back to Plantation....
