There were also some funny rituals which I guess were to "have kids soon", that kind of stuff :P
Kids rolling on the bed...
The boy hit through the bucket wrapped with red paper and picked up whatever was inside. The old aunties say these days the rituals are far more simplified than what they had at their time... phew~~
Break time
Give ang pow to the kids
Give ang pow to buddies who helped out
And then it was time for Pour Tea Part 2: my family's side :D
Dad
Mom... she has waited a long long long long time for this I think :P
Wife gets another jewellery gift...
...
and so on. My family side is small compared to Wife's side, so it didn't take long to finish and then change positions:

Cousin... "My, you've grown up!"

There was a lunch arranged for all the guests, who must be dead tired since we were all up and about so early today. But while they went for lunch, Wife and I had one more task for the day:
Photo shoot @ Melaka Historical City: The Stadhuys. Braving through the massive traffic jam (it was on Sat 26 Dec, one of the busiest holiday period in the year!)
