By the time the morning session has concluded, we had only about a short 2 hours break before moving to the next activity starts. Everyone busy dressing up and going for make-up, etc etc. The fact that the wedding was on 26 Dec made it slightly more complicated. It was a long weekend holiday (Christmas was on Friday), and it was year-end with loads of people coming to Melaka. Traffic was practically choking. The restaurant we chose was Good New World (GNW), smack right in the middle of Melaka Raya.
I was one of the first to arrive in the restaurant about 5PM to setup the projector and the songs to play. We decided from the start that there would be no Karaoke, just play some soft music. GNW is rather small so it's better to let people concentrate on the food and chat. The food is one of the main reason we chose GNW: people swear upon their reputation for whipping out a decent meal!
It wasn't long before guests started to appear. At 6PM. Wow. Talk about beating the crowd! Mom had several of her frens as ushers, so that helps us alot. My family is pretty small, only Mom, Bro and Sis, so between the few of us entertaining guests and coordinating logistics, any help was welcomed! Also, Wife's make up session took a tad longer than expected, so her brother had to be receving their side of the guests! (Ours is combined session).

Fireworks. The sound was so loud. A moment later, something hit my head! :-O
Stunned look... After reviewing the video, turns out that the force from the fireworks hit the fluorescent light above and that thing landed right on my head!! Luckily no injuries -_-''
Sab told me before, "Whatever happens, keep smiling". Ok, boss~~

After we were seated, they started serving the dishes. I only managed a few bites before Mom and I went around entertaining the guests~~
