Last Monday was the replacement holiday for Agong's Birthday. It also coincided with the school holidays, so I took another 2 days off and we were back to Melaka. Sat nite went back already late, but still motivated to ask the gang out for yum cha... then talk crap until shop also close :P And so happen XM's birthday celebration was the next day:
XM said, "Just put 1 candle enuf d"
"Thanks for celebrating my birthday every year.. "
I was sandwiched between Eric and SG, who can't seem to get their hands off each other :D ... and LY is expecting!
And Mom would bring us for breakfast every morning. Here's one of my fav places~~
This shop sells nice mee goreng with egg
But their best stuff is the toasted bread with kaya butter, half boiled egg and coffee!! Move over Old Town ;)
On Monday, decided to go for a day trip to KL. Our mission? Mostly to play with the new DSLR, but I also wanted to see Pavillion :D But before that, we made a pit stop at Wife's house to see her sis' kids:
"Call Ah Yee..." :D
2 hours later..
Fountain in full flow
but when I want to take, the fountain turn off pula -_-''
Some random pics:
2 storey Coach store... the bag I bought for Wife was only USD120... here they sell for RM700-800!
It was pretty challenging to snap nice pics using the DSLR inside the mall. During the Botanical Garden session, everywhere was bright and sunny, so it was easy to get nice pics. After some frustrating shots, we reverted to the trusty Canon point and shoot instead... like Yoda would say: "Much to learn, you still have!"
Their centre court had some balloon Fest~~
Sis recommended the "Singapore Prawn Mee" in the food court called Food Republic:
Wasn't hard to find really... it's one of the shop with most people queing! Tastes nice.. or is it the MSG?
Wife ordered Szechuan Ramen.. ok la... but things are sure expensive here. Each dish costs RM7-8 :-S
After walking for awhile got bored dy. For all the hype, Pavillion was rather small. So then we went outside to Lot 10 and Sg Wang. .. and snap my fav Twin Towers along the way ;)
and of course, the main entrance of Pavillion.
We ended up paying RM11 for the parking ticket! Their rate is RM3 for the first hour and RM2 for every subsequent hour :-S Really posh place~~ Getting back home from there was a nightmare as Jln Bkt Bintang was totally jammed up... every few hundred metres was another traffic light. By the time we got home, already late and dead beat tired....zzzzzzz
On Tuesday, had lunch with Su Wei before going for ... a hair cut! No more flowing hair :'( That night went for family dinner at a place called Sedap Dan Murah (Delicious and Cheap).... talk about creativity!
I just love yam rings.... :)
Egg
Sweet potato leaves
Claypot curry fish
Tofu. Ok, so the food is decent, and price as their name suggest is slightly lower :P
OMG, then Wednesday already :-O And there goes another holiday!
