"Italiannies @ 1 Utama"

While on the last trip back to Melaka, I stopped by at 1 Utama to rendezvous with mom, bro and sis as well as raiding the Toys R Us there. We decided to have lunch at Italiannies:

Salad. This tasted sooo good! And it's really something to impress because it's just salad. The dressing is light and doesn't interfere with the freshness of the ingredients used.



Creamy carbonara. Mom and bro stayed away. This is for cheese lovers! It tastes ok, but gets geli once you take too much.

After a seriously long wait and a few frustrating moments with the waitress, our main Promo menu dishes came. I seldom get upset with restaurant workers because seriously, their job isn't easy. But on that day, the service was particularly bad. After enquiring for once, then twice, you'd expect that the waitress would come and update you on where is the food.. I was like.. "Don't make me call you a THIRD time"...



... and that's when the appetizer dish came :D This is Toasted Bruschetta. It's an interestingly flavoured dish, sour from all the tomatoes and herbs. It depends on your taste, but one thing's for sure: the bread is awesome!

And *finally* the main dish arrived. This is Roasted Chicken with Balsamic Glaze. Whatever, just eat! And it was well worth the wait.. the meat is really tender and full of flavour.

This meal cost around RM90 I think. The portions are huge so sharing is recommended :D
