"My new PC!"

My old desktop completely broke down in Feb 2009, although actually it could not serve newer games way before that. I always put off getting a new one until just before CNY, I heard the CALL (of Duty). Coincidentally, Intel had just launched the Sandy Bridge architecture, so everything was falling into place nicely!

And finally here is the new (really) long awaited PC!

Here's the specs:
1) Intel core i7-2600 Processor LGA1155 3.40GHz, 8MB L3 Cache, TDP 95W (RM955)
2) Asus P8P67 Intel P67 S1155 M/B (RM599)
3) Kingston 4GB KVR1333 DDR3 RAM (RM158)
4) Sapphire ATI HD6870 PCIE 1GB DDR5 256 Bit Cross Fire X, PCIE2.1, DX11 - (RM785)
5) WD Caviar Green 2TB 64M SATA Hard disk 3.5 in (RM307)
6) Cooler Master GX 750W PSU (RM367)
7) Cooler Master CM690-II PLUS Chassis (RM285)
8) LITEON 24x DVD Writer (RM61)
Assembly charges (RM60)

Total = RM3577

Some of the specs are insanely overkill, such as the power supply; 750W!! It's even more expensive than the hard disk :P Actually this is to accommodate any future upgrade to a Cross Fire system. As I'm testing all sorts of games at max settings, the single HD6870 graphic card seems to perform effortlessly. Even the notorious hardware killer game, Crysis:Warhead, can run very smooth. However, I'm running at 1280x1024 resolution, so probably the true test would be to run at 2560x1600 or 1920x1200.

Ok, fire away~~ Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is waiting! :P
