Here's how Christmas is celebrated in Portuguese Settlement!
Adorable Annie is absolutely gonna kill me when she sees these pics! She wanted to go take pics there on Sat nite, but we reached at 1.30am; everything close dy! That's why, should take Monday off, then Sunday nite is de perfect time to go there.. :P
Fyi, going on Christmas Eve is a MAJOR NO-NO! Well, unless you are prepared to brave the SUPER JAM OF THE YEAR! Cars parked for few kilometres along the main road, along EVERY possible road! Even right till the front of my house... fuh...

Ah, what's Christmas without a tree...
The stage, with few Santas... great stuff for kids; they give lots of prizes for doing things like singing, dancing, and kissing Santas!
Ok, those were cool, but the main attractions were the decorations put up by the residents themselves. Each house was LOADED with unique decos, each apparently trying to outdo the other! :P I read heard that they spend thousands on deco and there's even a contest for the best one. Neat, huh. It's really the biggest celebration of the year for them!
This is one that I like. Can't miss it; it's the most obvious. (Pardon the camera shake.. taking photos under these conditions, without a tripod, were a real challenge!)
