"A Holiday...?"

Just before the long holidays, I went for *another* team building with my ATG mates. This time it's hiking to Muka Head!

Then on Sat, it's time to go back to Melaka... and that can only mean...

1. Jack Daniel + Johnny Walker makes a very powerful drink! I only whack 3 glasses alrdy head spinning...:-S And they ordered 4 bottles!

Well, that was just like any other holiday rite... until Sunday nite...

*** TWISTER HIT MELAKA!! ***

It was EPL nite.. Arsenal v Fulham, still a usual nite...until the wind started blowing stronger and stronger. Then it became REAL strong... The start to feel uneasy... That is when it hit:

PLAK! PLAK! PLAK!

The sound of tiles blowing off!! Then rain water started leaking in non-stop.. Wah lao... instead of watching football I ended up spending the nite mopping the floor, trying to stop it from flooding my house! After a few hours, I give up dy.... :(

Next morning, news starts to come in... Many houses near my area was hit bad. Check out the Star's report:

2. The real damage... My rooftop was blown away! :O

3. My house. Thank god no one got hurt... I went round Portuguese Settlements and Ujong Pasir.. Man, what a mess...you can actually see pieces of red tiles on the road, antennas blown out of proportions.... Mine considered 'lucky' alrdy...

So the next few days spent making police report, getting people to fix the roof, trying to claim insurance and getting relief funds from government...

What a 'holiday', eh......... :-S:-S

"Spider-man 3!!!"

Star Wars takes a back seat as Spider-man fever heats up! Here are a few figures that I managed to hunt the past week.

Okay, the packaging looks like kids' toys... But hey, check out the figures in it:

"Action-packed weeks!!"

Weekend! Fun time.... err... more like sleep time.. the past few weeks have been so hectic! Check out some of the stuff that has been happening:

Paintball @ Inti College! Part of the monthly team-building activities for my new group.

1. The 'rifles'. Ready for action.

4. "I'm hit!" Me, got hit within 5sec. Yes, humiliating. That happened in the first 2 rounds. But my group won the next 2 rounds ;)

DSP group outing! First up was Little Genting, a hilltop restaurant serving Thai food. Food is ok, but the scenery is what makes this place really stands out.

After that we went to this bridge in Batu Maung where people go fishing. Then Pei See decided to take a few black n white shots..

The following week we went to Bukit Mertajam for this Chinese-Thai 'fusion' food. Caught in a 1.5 hours crawl to get there, anything looked delicious!

After an exhausting work week , went out clubbing at Glo with Chee Seng, Ivan and Sharon!

Partied till 4.30am :S And Annie was coming to Penang the next day...

Next up: Back in Melaka partying at Sunshine Bar! The occasion: Adrienne's birthday!

The next day went to eat at Aunty Lee's authentic Nyonya restaurant with my family. Whenever go back Melaka, this is a place that cannot miss!:P

Last Thursday, Syazani and I decided to treat the guys at Idrus Ikan Bakar because we got an award for the patent we submitted.
