"Finally..."

Have you ever wanted to buy something, and then thought, "Maybe its too expensive/I don't need it... etc"? But you can't really get it out of your head, so you finally decided to buy it. And when you are back at the shop, the worst thing happened: Someone bought the last one! OMG... That's what happened to me. I searched everywhere, but never saw it again...

What item is tat?

Anakin's Green Jedi Starfighter (Toys R' Us Exclusive)

What's so special about it?

This was the starfighter that Anakin flew to Mustafar after he became Darth Vader. Yeah, blink and you miss it.

The retail price was RM139.90. But the peak price I saw was USD100 in eBay when ppl are still crazy about Star Wars III:Revenge of the Sith! :'(

But they say if you are patient enough, you will get to buy it at cost price... eventually...

Yeah, and finally 2 years later (last week), some guy put it up on eBay at Rm128! And now it is finally in my collection!!!!!!! Ok, actually after 2 years, I don't really care whether I have it or not. Haha.... Oh well........

"Waste money"

Yup, that's the verdict for Fantastic Four:Rise of the Silver Surfer: Waste money!

**** Spoilers ahead, but I think you wouldn't really care ****

+ Points:

Human Torch v Silver Surfer: It's cool, that's for sure.

Jessica Alba as Susan Storm: She absolutely glows! Sexiest star? You bet!

- Points:
Short: Barely 1.5 hours!

Unbelievable: The Silver Surfer can speak English... Hahah...
Anti-climatic: End battle is ridiculously short. And F4 doesn't have a hand in beating Galactus!

Illogical: If the Surfer could destroy Galactus so easily, why not do it much earlier la....

All in all Unsatisfying! :(

(But.... I will be looking for the figure of Susan Storm to add to my collection... :P)

"Turbulence!"

The truth is, these few weeks have been very turbulent emotionally and spiritually. Sometimes (most of the time) I feel like the guy on the left, full of fire and fury... Once in awhile, I *remind* myself to be more like the gal on the right... totally at peace with herself and the world (but it's damn hard!)

So what's wrong? Work, life, everything......... well, biasa la rite? Ahh, but it all adds up... it never goes away.... until the problem is solved... Hmm, from the looks of it rite now...quite unlikely!

Karam says he loses his temper sometimes... Me too... This morning, for some stupid reason, I nearly tried to bang a car who wouldn't let me cut into his lane! What was I thinking?! Crazy eh...

On a brighter side, a few things are keeping me happy... For one, my new team mates are starting to warm up to me.. not to say that they weren't nice previously... its jz tat normally these things take time and effort.

Secondly, Karam shared with me the Pirates of the Caribbean 3 soundtrack. It's really cool; brings you back to the adventure and fun of the movie! And Wai Maie shared this: "卫兰 - Do You Know", a really beautiful album which I can't stop listening... very soothing to a tortured soul...............

Heheh... chatting with LayKoon just now also helps... looks like you understand me a lot better than I thought! Thanks for spending the time.... :)

Gosh, after writing this I feel a *bit* better, but I think still need more Johnie to get over the day! Cheers, mate?

Just when I thought my Star Wars collection was dead, the Vintage Saga Collection arrived! RM39.90 each, these 'premium' figures comes out once a year only... That's how I convinced myself to buy it without feeling guilty ;)

"What's been happening lately..."

What's been going on....

Movies:

Watched Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World's End at Queensbay. Went there on Sat to buy ticket. ALL FULL. Buy for Sunday... Only got 11.30am.. Ok lah, what the heck...

Verdict? I like it, it's the standard formula: Laugh laugh, fight fight. And make sure u stay until the end of the credits! But there were a few things I dun get it like how'd the Kraken die? :-S Guess jz have to rewatch it when BJC clear copy comes out...

Then I finally watched Ghost Rider...

Verdict? Man, that sucked.. BIG TIME. I mean, the effects and all that are cool (especially the flaming bike), but u gotta have a story! And wat's with those lame villains.... :-S

Next, games: Now playing
1. Tomb Raider: Anniversary (God, I just love looking at Lara...)

2. Jade Empire (for the *3rd* time!)

3. Knights of the Nine (kinda boring...)

Onto Star Wars... all I have to show for these 2 months:

Anakin and Obi-Wan Unleashed, 7'' (RM79.90 each). Bought it back on May. Seems like this hobby is dying out... (which is really good for my wallet :D)

Melaka things! Went back home last weekend. What a massive jam. And what a terrible weather.

Well, the nice thing is me being able to spend time with my mom and sis. And eat like there's no tomoro... Hahha..... Also spending time with the 'infamous' Charlie's Angels! No clubbing this time (thankfully), jz yum cha n catching up on stories.. :) Eric n Laura shared the photos they took when they went to climb G. Kinabalu. Wow, really get to see a lot of fantastic scenery... and that made my feet itch again... Anyone keen on an adventure? ;)

Work things! Work sucks... especially when

1) Your lunch mates are on leave and u end up eating alone in the cafeteria :(

2) You are late for work, and ur car engine doesn't start... (always check ur car battery!!)

3) You are back from holiday, and you find ur network cable missing... (Pencuri!!)

4) You need to write ur weekly report... and jz realized u've been dreaming for the whole week!

But on the bright side, I've been going back at 6pm everyday! Hahaha....

That's it... Planning to watch Fantastic Four: Rise of Silver Surfer next week. And giving Shrek 3 the miss... (hey, there's only so much fun you can have...)
