"Star Wars on Nov"

Came! Here are the Star Wars items that I bought this month:

1. Hasbro, Star Wars Original Trilogy DVD Pack: Return of the Jedi (contains Jedi Luke, Emperor, C3P0 and R2-D2; RM59.95

2. Hasbro, Star Wars 7" Unleashed: Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader; RM79.80 each

3. Sideshow, 12" Qui-Gon Jinn Jedi Master; RM239.90

4. Hasbro, Star Wars Commemorative Tin Collection: Cantina Band; RM129.90

Total = RM589.55

Now you know why I am always broke by the end of the month!:P

"Journey to the West"

One afternoon at work on 23 Jan 2006:
"Wong, we need you to fly to Plantation, Florida. When can you fly? Tomorrow?"

"What?! This weekend I'm going back for Chinese New Year ler...can wait till after or not?"

"We are already taking the heat by delaying it. Can you book the flight on the 3rd day of CNY (Tue, 31 Jan), so that you will reach there on Wednesday morning Florida time and maybe have a short rest then go to work in the afternoon."

WTF man.... But after awhile, the words sunk in... Plantation... Florida... US... WOW...

"Ok, I'll book the flight now."

Thus began my Journey to the West!

After a very short CNY in Melaka, drove to KLIA on Tues morning 6am... feeling damn tension, since I have never flown before in my life much less go to any other country besides Singapore! Luckily got Mr Mok-mok going together with me :D At least got a brokeback partner ;) Hahaha..

Our flight itenary was KLIA-HKIA-LAX-Ft Lauderdale. The best part was that we're going on Cathay Pacific-Business Class!

Why? Because first, I kena tahan by the Immigration Dept. Special Registration Program... Damnit. Then, got some freaks bug you for donations. If you don't give, then they fug u upside down. Finally, somehow in the midst of all these, I LOST my air ticket!!! It's like... S.H.I.T!!! Dah jatuh ditimpa tangga lagi!

Panic like hell, search all over also don't have.. finally went to Cathay's counter...while asking the person, I was like gonna cry dy...:'( Then the person said,"Is this yours? Someone found it and passed it to us." Wah, damn LEGA man!! I was like,"Thankyouthankyouthankyou..."

Jalan-jalan somewhere outside LAX (coz of the 10-hour wait till the next flight)

Reached Fort Lauderdale on Wed morning Florida time.. felt damn tired from all the action... the only thing that I wish for was...My hotel bed!! (Yes, I jumped on top of it, just like in the movies :P )

Slept the whole day, woke up at 8pm Florida time.. So much for "go to work in the afternoon" Hahahahha....As for work tomorrow, relaz la... ;)

"Those who have left us..."

Our fellow Jedi Knight Shawn will be leaving us this Friday to further studies.. In the spirit of this great 'celebration', I pulled out some pics of those who have enjoyed this day before! :D

First, we have Ewe and Chew who left in '04... There wasn't any official pics that time (since our official photographer, Lay Koon havent joined yet..:P), so this is the best I can pull out...

Then, our Pretty First DSP Gal left us on Aug '05 to study... is it pure coincidence that Shawn is sitting where she sat??

Then, the God of DSP joined the gang somewhere on Sep 05... Sadly, he brought together his godly-touch which can fix any error u see on the compiler...
While I was in Florida, my mentor, Qui-Gon also left us... With him, he took all the kimochis...:(

Lastly, KP the Man left as well.. :D Hahahaha

And who can forget *THAT* speech!

Well, that's it... Hehe, I wonder who's next! ;)
