"Furniture has arrived!"
Furniture has arrived!
But first, the last of the built-in carpentry has also arrived, the shoe cabinet... much nicer than the 3D drawing which they gave...
And here's the dining table from Kamay; marble with high gloss surface and stainless steel legs
2 white and 2 black chairs :P
And here's the sofa.... RED sofa...haha... goes along with the yellow fan :D Oh ya, the curtain has also arrived :)
And a high-gloss white coffee table
The whole view... not long more!

"More updates"
Not much more really, but I'm scrutinizing every new addition! Hahaha :P
Master room's wardrobe
Room #1's wardrobe. I like this one more...
Room #1's bedframe
Has side compartments
Queen size is kinda small... :-S
Kitchen's solid surface is installed...
And air-con for the living room.

The contractor say next Monday will install the shoe cabinet and the master room's bedframe. And by Wed, he will ask the cleaners to come in before getting me to inspect the final stuff on Fri. Hmm... seems like still alot to do; can he make it in time?? :-S

"More updates!"
A week later...
They fixed the fan... now it's flying upright! :P Previously the blades were terbalik... :-S
TV cabinet...
This shows the relative size of the kitchen... now with the top cabinet assembled, but the solid surface, hood and hob still missing... oh ya, the sink too...
At first I was shocked to see the uneven cabinet on the right... but when I cross-checked with the drawing, it's correct :-S it means more storage space i guess!
Master room's wardrobe
Room #1's wardrobe.
Ok, still missing Master room's bedframe, Room #1's bedframe and the shoe cabinet... Hurry up guys!!!! :P

"Teowchew steamboat @ Goh Huat Seng"
Now this is a place I haven't been in a long time! The only other time I was here was when Pet (miss her so much!) organized these food-hunting sessions back in the old DSP heydays... Anyway, brought Wife here this time and lets see what we had:
Ordered steamboat for 2.
Not exactly a lot rite... the mee and mihun have to order separately.
They still use charcoal.. classic! :D
The soup is clear but tasty. Recommended!
Located along Lebuh Kimberly. This meal came up to about Rm46.80, so not exactly the cheapest of places :P

"House renovation in progress"
Some pics I took yesterday... it's pretty slow, but at least some shape is taking place :-S
Entrance
Living room... unfortunately, the guy fixed the fan wrongly pula...
Kitchen... awaiting the solid surface
Notice I changed the windows of the dry yard to make a more consistent look :P
The lights in the dining area
The plaster ceiling design
Master room
Room 1
Room 2 aka the Museum! :D
All rooms use the tiny 42" fans :P
The outside grill. Used the more expensive thicker grills so that it wont look like a cage :P
