"Family food fest in Penang!"

I wanted to post this earlier, but anyways, family decided to come up to Penang during the Wesak Day holidays for food fest! After having dim sum for breakfast, we drove up to Kek Lok Si. They were reluctant at first, probably thinking of the old way which we always did (i.e. take the long stairs up)! But a short drive up, and...

New shade for Kuan Yin. The construction at the side means it's still hard to get a nice clear shot

That Saturday was blazing hot with all the haze and what not... so we went into hiding at home after awhile!

We skipped lunch and bought Pasembur and rojak for tea :D

And later went to QB for dinner...

Dragon-i might seem like a weird choice for a food fest in Penang, but a nice dinner is in order. And since there were four of us, we can get to order many many dishes!

Stuffed from all the food, more was to come the next day for breakfast/lunch at Kheng Pin cafe at Penang road!
